The Easiest Container Plant

easiest container plant is sedum

Concrete container of sedums

I have never been very good at nurturing plants. I kind of let them tough it out, especially when those pots are located a long way from a water source. So, hardy sedums love hot, sunny spots, and look good in my old concrete pots. Every few years I might divide the clumps, add a little grit, and fresh soil, but I don’t baby these babies.  They get my vote for easiest container plant.

Birmingham’s best selection of sedums can be found at Oak Street Garden Shop in Crestline Village.
